We are Changing as a business...
and wanted to thank you for your support. Touch of Africa was founded in 2011, with the encouragement of the Office of External Affairs, University of Cambridge and Cambridge University Entrepreneurs, which is a student society enterprise. The brand has since moved from Cambridge to London, and has had interesting and exciting opportunities, but it has also been a long hard grind managing a company in London through the financial ups and downs of our decade. One of the biggest changes has been the range of prints now available, which are from tribes in South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, Nigeria and Ghana. This has meant travelling to the said countries, navigating rough terrain to find the new, fresh splashes of colour prints that now make up the funky global brand Touch of Africa.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US IN 2016/2017
- We want to show you how a product is made, and how we pick the fabric that makes your amazing dresses and jumpsuits.
- We’ve been listening to customers- You can expect more jumpsuits- a Spring/Summer and Autumn/winter range.
- We will be selling fabric.
- We will be doing short 15 second videos about the garments.
- We will have a base in Toronto, Canada as well as being in London.
- We will communicate more about the connections, contributions, and complexities of the Commonwealth countries we work in and how that ties into London.
We usually run out the popular products. We are aiming to hold competitions with the popular jumpsuits and shirt dresses. Your loyalty will be rewarded with discounts on new products coming out, and we encourage you to take pictures wearing the amazing prints and send them to us.
Thank you again for your support. Without your continued interaction, there would be no Touch of Africa.
